Last Post...

Ok, this is my last post since I'm moving out of here in a half hour. But I had to come back to say that Mikey has stayed up all night the last two nights. Granted on the first night he actually worked on a paper that was do, but that was only until probably about 6 am. And it really pissed me off last night because we had a group project due this morning we needed to finish and he kept trying to put it off and play WoW, so I had to flip the circuit breaker a couple of times.

Luckily, I'll probably never see this kid play WoW ever again, YIPPEE!!

End of an era...

This'll most likely be the last entry in the "Mikey's Addiction" blog seeing that it is the end of our summer school term I won't even be in the same state as the kid anymore. But I did get some snippets of a conversation Mikey was having over the phone and got as much as I could...

"I just transferred all my points over, but if raid one has an opening, I'll go on it, but if something drops I wanna get it...Last time we killed two bosses in only 3 hours; it's pretty fun. No, no, you've never been there, you should see what's going on, it's not like your regular instance. Huh? The band of hawks. I want to start a PPP group with them. well, see, when you get on events and we have all sixties, you'll do alright. Yeah, yeah, you stay a group, right right. Ya, no but it's hard...If you look at the PPP rankings, they're the top 8 people. To get the good armor, you gotta be like, not too far. We have to get like 15000 kills, to get the first set of armor. The points are based on how much damage you do."

I haven't been tracking all of Mikey's hours this week, but that's because he's been spending all his waking moments playing anyway.

So our old roommate CJ came to visit, and Mikey was trying to explain the game to him, and this is the stuff I overheard:

Mikey: "Oh, fucker...You have to collect all the H through 8s. It's like a random killer, not somebody playing, but something else.
CJ: "play guitar much?"
Mikey: "uh, once in a while...such a good wand, so good. Aw, I can't wait to use it now. God it's awesome!
CJ: (playing guitar)...
Mikey: "Here watch, when you get to level 40 you can buy them out, and it'll go faster so I can buy them out. See right here, it costs about a hundred gold almost to get.
CJ: "Are you riding something?"
Mikey: "Yeah, you can ride a raptor, of course...there are lots of things you can ride; this ones got armor, but some are faster...I'll get those ones with the long legs and the wings."
Mikey: "Ok, these are the battlegrounds. That an alliance player...(wierd horn sound in the game)...Oh Yes! Critical! I've never hit anyone for so much before...Those are alliance players. I just fucked him up big time! I have three killing modes, so I'm the last one who makes the kill. What!?! I'm kicking ass!! That's a mage, they go down hard but they fuck you up easy...I can't see them though, that would make it kind of unfair...(battle horn again)...Shit!...Everything is shortrange...Oh yeah, oh yeah, c'mon bitch. (Mikey has a big smile on his face) (battle horn again)...I can't attack it? Holy shit he's got a lotta life! Awe, until his guy starts attacking me I can't attack. See then I heal myself.
CJ: "So are you gonna eat or not?"

The kids been playing the game for the last 8 1/2 hours. Draw your own conclusions...

It was our friend Ben's wedding yesterday, so Mikey didn't get a chance to play any WoW. And he just started playing right now, see: 

Back in the swing...

Alright, we're back in the swing of things here. Mikey played the game from midnight to 3:30 last night, got up at 7:30, and started playing again at 10:15 until 4:30 with a 2 hour break in between. At 4:30 he took a nap until a quater to seven and then got up and played until 9. So...

Also, I'd like to add a new little section to the blog. It incorporates all the random shit that Mikey says outloud while he's playing the game, when he's talking to no one. Today I was trying to take a nap and before I fell asleep I heard the two following things, and I quote: "C'mon slut" and "How'd that not take down that guy."

I've been slacking...

As it turns out, I'm starting to get a bit of a following with this thing, and I apologize to everyone out there for not keeping up with my responsibilities for the last few days.

So according to Mikey, he only played 16 hours over all of Labor Day weekend, which is all of Friday through all of Monday. He's probably lying, and it can't be verified, plus we don't know how much he slept. So we'll just pretend like it never happened.. It seems as though he's been doing some homework this week, but of course it was the kind as seen in the pic below. I'm estimating that for Tuesday and Wednesday he had approx. 9 hours each. He didn't go to sleep on Monday night until 3:30 am (up at 7:30 am) and on Tuesday he was up until 2:30 (up at 12:30 pm); and on Wednesday until 2 (up at 7:30). So, new estimates are as follows:

This is what it looks like when Mikey is "studying", as he puts it. Notice the headphones on his neck, he bought them because they have a special built in microphone so that he can talk with people playing the game. This is how bad it is...

This is a conversation Mikey just had on the phone with, I believe, his brother. I copied down as much as possible and haven't embellished any of it, all the terms used here were spoken by Mikey and are WOW related:

"Okay, i've got 29 crystals and 346 gold. I'm gonna send those to you and you make up the Thorin as fast as you can. But sell me all of it so I can make a full deck, and I'll sell it for 600 gold. But hold on to whatever decks you have, because a priest can help increase the manta...5 stamina, 5 intellect, yeah send it to my guy so I can wear it...Do you see what I'm trying to do here? Some guy said he would get me a reaper if I get him 50 gold, but I want to see if some guy in our guild can do it. But I'd like to get two reapers if I can sell...."

I missed a few days...

Alright, alright, alright, so I missed a few days. But it was Labor Day weekend, and I decided to get out and go do something. But I didn't get back until 3 AM last night, and of course Mikey was up playing that fucking game.
