Mikey is addicted to the online game World of Warcraft, or WOW, if I may. This blog is a one month study to monitor how much it ruins his life.

Your should include the total amount of time that he could have possibly played the game. To give a better indication of how much of his life he is actually wasting. For example, Mikey played 10 hours yesterday (24 hours in a day), thus, he spent 41.67% of his day to his addiction.

I know that my roommates are trying to stop me from playing this game. I'm not that much of a gamer either, this is the first game that I have been interested in, since the last 3.5 years. I have played the game for about 5.5 months now, and if you know other players in the game they have been on since the release on Nov. 23, 2004, and play way more then me. I don’t spend every minute I can playing the game. I still go out with the guys, drink with them, never missed a day of work or have I been late for work, go to class and get my homework done, and as you can read I went to a wedding which I really didn't have to go to because I was just invited the night before. If I was truly addicted I would have probably never went to the wedding. I am taking 20 credit hours of classes this term, and my grades are not slipping. Evan's website is bias to my addiction making it look like I have a really bad habit, such as snuffing cocaine or shooting heroine. No one can say that playing WoW is as bad as doing those drugs, if you are then your just being unrealistic, so fuck off. We live in Flint, MI, there’s nothing to do here! I do believe myself that I need to tone down the playing. If it is really, I mean truly ruining my life please tell me how? I need a good explanation of why?
